First Review of Constellation Series PCs Is Up!

Stereo Times’ Mike Wright reviews the new 2025 Constellation VE power cords, the review puts the Constellation VE analog power cord and the Voyager VE Digital Power cord through their paces! These all-new power cords replace the Lotus GS and Spirit GS power cords respectively in the Dynamic Design Line of cables. Both power cords feature new design elements that deliver much better performance compared to the Lotus GS power cords. New and better performing metallurgy, insulation systems, shielding technologies and 3D printed AC connectors raise the performance bar in a non-subtle way over the Lotus GS Series power cords!

The improvements manifest an elevated 3D soundstage rendering that belies the affordable prices of both power cords! The Constellation VE power cord is available with 15-amp or 20-amp terminations while the Voyager VE digital power cord is available with 15-amp terminations only. Both power cords are currently available at major introductory savings for a limited time!

Titania PC Wins 2023 Most Wanted Components!

The Titania GS Power Cord wins the coveted “2023 Most Wanted Components” award from the premium audio magazine! Senior reviewer Mike Wright had this to say in bestowing the award to the Titania GS power cord:

Dynamic Design Titania GS Power Cords ($3,500/1.5 Meter): In as much as cables are a personal taste, I have consistently felt that Olu Sonuga’s Dynamic Design cables are some of the best cables available despite spending time with some of the pricier European cables that seem to enjoy a following here in the US. Olu sent me some of his Titania GS power cords to try on my Bully Sound Company m100 and VAC Signature iQ mono-amps. I mentioned to him that these seemed heavier than the Titania GS power cords I had encountered, and he replied that there had been some trickle-down improvements. My amplifiers have never sounded better. By better, I include the time I spent with the Hemingway Z-Core Beta power cable. Every aspect in which I evaluate music was improved across the board; specifically, the bass performance, which was already good, had greater fullness and extension, with many more rumbles and room rattling that caused one to ask, “Oh darn. Where did that come from?” Some of the other noted improvements are greater dimensionality, stage parameters, air, dynamics, and tonality.” (Mike Wright)

Dynamic Design Cables win TAS 2022 Editors’ Choice Awards!

Dynamic Design Cables win the prestigious The Absolute Sound 2022 Editors’ Choice Awards! Thank you to Neil Gader and The Absolute Sound for bestowing Dynamic Design Cables with this highly coveted award for our Lotus and Titania Series cables that deliver the ultimate low distortion performance!

Titania Series

The Titania Series bridges the gap between the Heritage Series and the affordable Lotus Series. Its design criteria and performance goals mirror that of the Heritage Series, so it’s more of a less expensive version of the Heritage Series than a higher performance Lotus Series. It utilizes, essentially, the same materials, processes and, technologies as the Heritage Series. It’s a natural, detailed, tactile and nuanced design that delivers tremendous insight into your favorite recordings! Its wide-bandwidth performance is an asset to all well-designed high-performance systems.

Price starting at $2000.

 Lotus Series

The Lotus Series may be the “baby” of our line of products, but it packs quite a performance punch. Its design goals are the same as its more expensive stablemates. Its materials and processes are identical to that of its stablemates, only sacrificing in the absence of our more advanced shielding technologies. Its wide-bandwidth performance is absolutely world-class, offering a reference quality open window into your recorded media. It delivers a linear, extended, dynamic and powerful performance that fully reveal the design aspirations of your components!

Price starting at $1000.

Titania Series Wins Product of The Decade Award!

We are so proud and ecstatic that our Titania Series cables were awarded this momentous award by Stereotimes.com! “Dynamic Design Titania Titania Speaker Cable ($5,200 1.5 meter pair) and XLR Interconnects ($3,600 1 meter pair): This small Chicago-based company continues to be my favorite cable company for going on 17 years now. They produce some of the very best audio cables available and compete with anything available.  The build quality and parts selection are first-rate and all Dynamic Design offerings are very pleasing to the eye.  The Titania Series is very neutral, dynamic and detailed.  The Titania cables will let you hear what your equipment is doing in the audio chain and present your music selections as they were meant to be heard without adding any character of its own.  The Titania really goes a long way towards getting out of the way and letting you enjoy your music.” (Mike Wright). http://v2.stereotimes.com/post/most-wanted-components-of-the-decade-cables-and-accessories

Neutron SW16 Digital Power Cord

Chinese premium audio site, Hifishuo.com bestows an award to the Neutron SW16 Digital power cord! The award was bestowed on the basis of superlative performance, high build quality and, design aesthetics and appearance.

“… the sound of the Neutron SW16 is grand, the notes are very full, thick and quite dense and heavy. At the same time, compared with the Kama EEXS-1A, the background is more stable, without any roughness, and the sound is more open and bright. Gilers’s piano sound is quite pure. In the I saw him once in the tragic world, after changing to the Neutron SW16, there was a feeling of suddenly turning the lights on in the dark room to illuminate the stage.

The performance of this beautiful system, especially late Saturday through Sunday, was ethereal and awe-inspiring. With Hubble-like clarity, stunning speed, awesome dynamics, incredible ambient resolution and,  sledgehammer power. The sound was so well coordinated that it formed an airy, breathing 3-D soundscape that morphed continuously with each recording. Timbre was spot-on and instruments were surrounded by their own space, easily delineating their placement within the soundstage.

The host, “The Voice That Is” (TVTI), put together an incredible demonstration that resulted in standing room only all weekend long with showgoers visibly moved by the mind-blowing experience listening in room 509 was at LAAS 2017! This is the typical reaction to rooms setup by the very capable Doug White of TVTI.

Olu Sonuga & Bill Artope of Dynamic Design attended and Doug White of TVTI was present.  The teamwork displayed in the room resulted in the harmonious coming together of the different brands and personalities to speak in one sweet voice all weekend long.

The sound in the room was impressive, with stunning clarity; pitch perfect tonality; incredible micro and macro dynamics; and the best bass performance I’ve ever heard at a show, there was total room lock on the Gregory Porter – “Holding On” track. It was truly an experience to behold! All genres of music were also well served and presented, the system produced an immersive and emotional connection to the music and that’s as it should be in a high-end audio system!

Neutron SW16 “more open” proclaims Mike Fremer

neutron sw16 power cables
Neutron SW16 Digital Power Cord

Premier audio reviewer, Michael Fremer of Stereophile magazine recently spent time with our Neutron SW16 Digital power cord in his system. Mike reviewed the new Brinkmann Nyquist DAC and declared the Neutron SW16 “more open, crystalline sound proved the ideal match for the Nyquist.” when plugged into the Nyquist!

The Neutron SW16 concept is a culmination of 17 years of design and evolutionary progress. It builds on the strengths of our previous flagship VLT Nebula DPC and innovations debuted in the Challenger AE15 DPC. The Neutron SW16 represents the ultimate digital power cord in the Heritage series.
Dielectrics: Cable dielectrics should be terrible conductors of electrical signals; the worse they are conducting electrical signals the better the cable performance. Storing and the subsequent releasing of the signal create distortions that adversely affect the performance of a cable. The air impregnated, multi-layer insulation system in the Neutron SW16 delivers a charge storage of 1.3, just a mere 0.3 more than a perfect vacuum (1.0). This results in a velocity of propagation of 95% the speed of light, reducing signal smearing to a minimum with superb phase linearity!
Shielding: The pervasiveness of noise around today’s audio systems demands a full commitment to protecting the audio signal. Efficient and effective shields, as those in the Neutron SW16, that both reflect and absorb noise mitigates the impact on the audio signal. Mere twisting of conductors regardless of geometries is not adequate to protect from the myriad and complex types of noise bombarding our systems. It, in addition to our renowned Dynamic Shielding™ technology, features a special twisting geometry and multiple shield types that are layered in a proprietary sequence to deliver ultra-wide-bandwidth protection from DC to the gigahertz range. This results in 100% shield coverage and over -110db shielding effectiveness!
Conductors: The massive 99.9999% high purity copper and silver stranded conductors utilized in the Neutron SW16 are specially treated to maximize conductivity and power handling. The complex and intricate geometry of the conductors ensures maximum isolation from crosstalk and reduced coupling capacitance.

The host, “The Voice That Is” (TVTI), put together an incredible demonstration that resulted in standing room only all weekend long with showgoers visibly moved by the mind-blowing experience listening in room 342 was! This is the typical reaction to rooms setup by the very capable Doug White of TVTI.

Olu Sonuga of Dynamic Design attended, Doug White of TVTI was present, Bob Clarke of Profundo was on hand and, Jorn Janczak of Tidal Audio flew in from Germany.

Dynamic Design Cables win 2017 TAS Award!

dynamic design cables

We’re very excited that The Absolute Sound (TAS), the premier high-end audio publication, has awarded several Dynamic Design cables the esteemed 2017 Editors’ Choice Awards. Our Challenger AE15, Lotus AE15 power cables, Titania Interconnects and, Titania speaker cables were awarded this prestigious honor! It is always gratifying when our design philosophies and execution are acknowledged and bestowed the highest industry honors for product design excellence and performance!

TAS had this to say about the combination of the Challenger AE15 Digital and Lotus AE15 power cables:

“Commemorating its 15th Anniversary, the AE15 Lotus Analog is designed for high-power components, the Heritage Series AE15 Challenger Digital for low-power or source components. This superb combination exhibits an openness, harmonic ease, and lack of constriction that effectively permits it to disappear from the soundspace. Its overall character has a neutral-to-warm glow, but with a bolder, slightly more forward sound that physicalizes
images and sculpts their boundaries.” NG, 245

TAS also had this to say about the combination of the new Titania Interconnects and speaker cables:

“An extrovert, the spirited Titania [combo] has a more forward, cooler presentation but its presence, dynamic energy, and bass response are electrifying. Sheer power, colorful timbre, and transient speed are its strong suits. As a general observation, its soundstage is a little more proximate, and doesn’t quite match the dimensionality of NG’s reference cable. Still, it is one of the more purely exciting and toe-tapping cables in recent memory.” NG, 269

All Dynamic Design cables utilize innovative and cutting edge materials and technologies in our designs. These in-turn deliver the most accurate reproduction, within a high performance system, of the original recorded event! All Dynamic Design cables are available for in-home audition through our In-Home Audition Program (IHAP) that let potential customers experience the performance of our products in the familiarity of their own systems and environment. Neutron SW16 wins Prestigious Brutus Award

Dynamic  Design’s Neutron SW16 Digital power cord wins the prestigious and highly coveted Positive-Feedback 2016 Brutus Award, the highest award that can be bestowed by Positive-Feedback! We are so proud and grateful to the PF Editor-in-Chief, Dr. David Robinson, for the award, it means a lot to us. This award validates our efforts in designing a power cord that profoundly elevates the performance of digital front-ends no matter the pedigree.

Dr. David, in his comments about the Neutron SW16, noted how the Neutron SW16 ascended to the top of the line as the power cord of choice for digital gear in his system.

The Neutron SW16 materials and processes are without peer, pushing it to the pinnacle of digital power cords! With SOTA design and build, the Neutron SW16’s insulation, conductors and, shielding represent a profound advancement from what is available today:

Insulation System: Cable insulation should be terrible conductors of electrical signals; the worse they are as conductors the better the cable performance. Storing and the subsequent releasing of the signal create distortions that adversely affect the performance of a cable. The air impregnated, multi-layer film type insulation system in the Neutron SW16 delivers a charge storage of just a mere 0.3 more than a perfect vacuum. This results in a velocity of propagation of 95% the speed of light, reducing signal smearing to a minimum with superb phase linearity and stunning clarity!

Shielding: The pervasiveness of noise around today’s audio systems demand a full commitment to protecting the audio signal, by designing efficient and effective shields. Mere twisting of conductors regardless of geometries is not adequate to protect from the myriad and complex types of noise bombarding our systems. The Neutron SW16 features a special twisting geometry and multiple shield types that are layered in a proprietary sequence to deliver ultra wide-bandwidth protection well into the gigahertz range. This results in 100% shield coverage, over -95db shielding effectiveness and ultra-fast propagation speed!

Conductors: The Neutron SW16 utilizes massive 99.9999% high purity copper and silver stranded conductors that are specially treated to maximize conductivity and power handling. The conductors are twisted in a complex and intricate array ensuring maximum isolation from crosstalk and reduced coupling capacitance.

Dr. David Robinson, Editor-in-Chief, of Positive Feedback introduces the Neutron SW16 Digital power cord into his reference system. The Neutron SW16’s extraordinary performance warranted a write up, per Dr. David, where others have failed to elicit such an honor! In comparisons with his reference power cords, Dr. David discovered that the it “was definitely in the front rank” by virtue of its unique performance envelope in his system.

See Dr. David’s write up here

The Neutron SW16’s innovative materials, technologies and, processes are without peer, pushing it to the pinnacle of digital power cords! With state-of-the-art design and build quality the Neutron SW16’s dielectrics conductors and, shielding represent a profound advancement compared to what is available today in the industry:

Cable dielectrics should be terrible conductors of electrical signals; the worse they are the better the cable performance. Storing and the subsequent releasing of the signal create distortions that adversely affect the performance of a cable. The air impregnated, multi-layer combined with a film type insulation system in the Neutron SW16 delivers a charge storage of just a mere 0.3 more than a perfect vacuum. This results in a velocity of propagation of 95% the speed of light, reducing signal smearing to a minimum with superb phase linearity!

The pervasiveness of noise around today’s audio systems demand a full commitment to protecting the audio signal, by designing efficient and effective shields. The Neutron SW16 Digital Power Cord Reviewed

neutron sw16 power cables

Marshall Nack of Positive-Feedback checks out the new Neutron SW16 Digital power cord in his system. The Neutron SW16 is Dynamic Design’s latest flagship Digital power cord embodying over 17 years of R&D and evolutionary innovation! Marshall was so enamored with the performance of the Neutron SW16 in his system that he proclaimed “The Neutron SW16 is staying put on my CH Precision C1 DAC.” There is no better compliment for the performance of the Neutron SW16 than that! This is no surprise as Marshall use terms like ” having exceptional resolving powers” and “lifelike” to describe the performance of the Neutron SW16 in his system!

Dielectrics: Cable dielectrics should be terrible conductors of electrical signals; the worse they are the better the cable performance.
Shielding: The pervasiveness of noise around today’s audio systems demand a full commitment to protecting the audio signal. Efficient and effective shields, as those in the Neutron SW16, that both reflect and absorb noise mitigates the impact on the audio signal. Mere twisting of conductors regardless of geometries is not adequate to protect from the myriad and complex types of noise bombarding our systems. The Neutron SW16, in addition to our renowned Dynamic Shielding™ technology, features a special twisting geometry and multiple shield types that are layered in a proprietary sequence to deliver ultra wide-bandwidth protection from DC to the gigahertz range. This results in 100% shield coverage and over -95db shielding effectiveness!
